I do not play it everyday.I go to the gym with it and spend roughly 2 hours max and listen to it there.First the earbuds.Not only are they LOW quality, they are extremely uncomfortable and constantly fall out. I only gave this ONE STAR, but the player isn't bad.battery life sucks!I purchased this REFURBISHED SanDisk player close to 2 weeks ago. I purchased inexpensive car and a/c wall chargers and a protective cover with a clip from and all work very well with this device. External speakers and headphones are an easy fix. It added the Slot Radio icon to the device so I would be able to run preloaded SanDisk music cards.The only negatives for me are that it doesn't have a speaker and the earbuds are too large for my ears and fall out easily.
SANSA FUZE INSTALL MICRO SD CARD SOFTWARE
I downloaded software and upgrades from the Sandisk site. I was able to navigate before I read the manual, despite my being a novice MP3 user. Volume is easily adjusted.The video screen has amazing clarity despite it's size and audio is crisp with no distortion. As you hold the function down on the wheel, it speeds up faster and faster so portions can be quickly located. The other feature I really like is the ease of fastforwarding or rewinding.
This is nice when the narrator reads very slow or you want to get through sections faster. For audiobooks, it has a slow, medium and fast feature so you can change the speed of the reader. had an excellent price on this unit and their customer service was #1.Ĭonclusion: great product + great service + great price + fast shipping + great communications = 5 star rating. Battery life is excellent too so the battery can't be very old. It came out of the box looking and working like brand new and even had the very latest firmware installed. I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing a refurbished unit but I needn't have been. The only real fault I can find is that while it supports them, there's no built-in facility for creating/editing playlists.
The included earbuds aren't too great but after replacing them the sound quality of both MP3s and FM radio are superb once properly equalized. No real need to use the MicroSD/HC slot but it's nice to know that I can add up to 64GB more if I ever need it. The very first evening I was able to hand pick and transfer over 800 of my favorite tunes to it and still have about 1GB of space remaining on this 4GB model.
Especially pleasing was the fact that it works right out of the box under Ubuntu Linux. It's everything I wanted in an audio player and more. The Sansa Fuze is a great little MP3 player.
